Welcome to the Players World Kitchen!
Players World Kitchen brings together elite athletes and culinary creativity, pairing the skills and stories of players with meals inspired by their lives, passions, and cultures. It’s food with a purpose, delicious, inspiring, and rooted in the values of teamwork and resilience.
Shaunagh's Connection to Food
“Food has always been about connection for me… it brings people together.”
For Shanaugh, food is connection, comfort, and conversation.
Hosting Players World Kitchen
As the host of Players World Kitchen, Shaunagh Brown plays a key role in shaping the conversations behind the series. With experience working closely with players and performance environments, she brings empathy, curiosity, and a deep understanding of elite sport to every episode.
Shaunagh creates a relaxed, welcoming space where players feel comfortable sharing their stories — from rugby journeys and personal challenges to food, identity, and life beyond the pitch. Her thoughtful, player-first approach helps draw out honest conversations, making Players World Kitchen as much about people as it is about food.
Shaunagh Brown’s Dish
To close out the Players World Kitchen series, Shaunagh steps into the kitchen herself with a dish inspired by her love of bold flavours and shared plates. Her gochujang-glazed Korean chicken is paired with kimchi rice and a fresh Asian slaw — a vibrant, flavour-packed meal designed for balance, texture, and enjoyment. True to her hosting style, it’s a dish made for sharing, with plenty of sides, condiments, and personality on the plate.
